CURATING your story

My floral style is exquisite with more ‘bloom than bulk’ - who would say no to more blousy blooms? I only use minimal foliage in bouquets, though you’ll see it more in other elements like installations, meadow aisles and pew ends. No one can imagine a wedding without flowers, and they are one of the most crucial elements in defining the heart and soul of your day. Whether a wedding is in a city location or a marquee celebration, it’s the flowers that set the tone. Your flowers are the expression of your colour palette, create the atmosphere you dream of and provide the scent that will remind you of your day every time you walk through a garden. From there, we can have a zoom or in-person chat about what your floral vision is for your wedding and discuss what wedding flowers you’d like to have. Then, I will create a detailed proposal and email it to you with a Pinterest moodboard to inspire you. Once the quote is accepted, it’s time to book your date and we can start on our creative journey together, where I can bring your wedding florals to life for your big day.

Sustainability

Traditionally, floristry has used a lot of floral foam which is pretty much the most dreadful substance you can use for the environment. At Flowers Inside My Head I only use chicken wire to create installations, I use recycled packaging where possible and during the flower farm season which runs from April to October in the UK, I use as many locally grown flowers as I can. After your wedding I can come back in the evening or next morning and repurpose the flowers into bunches to gift to your guests so they can bring further joy for a long period of time..
