Spring wedding flowers in pinks, greens and whites for Verity + Oliver, April, The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey

bridal bouquet in pinks, whites and greens, spring flowers butterfly ranunculus, tulips, paper whites, campanula and tied with a pale pink velvet ribbon

Verity and Oliver got married at the end of April which meant we had the pick of the British grown spring flowers to use. This gave us stunning ranunculus - including the pretty butterfly variety, huge double tulips that were rather like peonies, and paper whites with their beautiful scent.

The colour scheme was shades of pink – from the palest to bright, whites, off-whites and greens. Verity chose a trailing super tactile, pale pink velvet ribbon that added more texture to the scheme.

In the Tithe Barn we created growing up from the ground meadow aisle arrangements down the aisle, alternating with lanterns – these were moved in front of the top table after the ceremony. The guest tables had bud vases of varying heights and sizes filled with flowers to match the scheme.
